My Role I joined Gojek at a pivotal stage when the product-market fit for their logistics service, GoSend, had just been validated in Indonesia. My mandate was to scale the product further, driving growth, retention, engagement, expansion, and monetisation before the IPO. About the Company Tonguestun is India’s largest online B2B marketplace for office-focused caterers, featuring over 1,000 curated food partners and serving more than 1,500 companies, including major clients like IBM and Accenture. My Role: When I joined Tonguestun, it had a 3-member product team and had already validated the product and gained traction. I was tasked with scaling the product, tech operations, and the team. Key Contributions and Impact: ➤ Introduced feedback mechanisms to effectively listen to and resolve customer problems, increasing customer satisfaction from 2.1 to 4.2 ➤ Led 25+ cross-functional members across product, design, data, QA, tech, and customer support—establishing shared rituals, aligning on OKRs, and accelerating execution toward strategic business goals ➤ Built a solid team across support, product, design, and tech to scale both the product and operations ➤ Improved the cafe ordering app and vendor app, resulting in an 80% increase in operational efficiency ➤ Shipped a cafe-quality check app to ensure food quality and reduce incidents by 80% ➤ Built backend systems to streamline vendor onboarding, reducing onboarding time by 40% and improving partner activation rate ➤ Combined, these initiatives and more helped accelerate the business from 5,000 to 120,000 transactions per day within 12+ months ➤ Tonguestun was eventually acquired by Zomato and rebranded as food@work in a $18 million acquisition What I Learned: How to build and scale both the product and the team

My Role: I joined as a Developer and was soon promoted to Chief Product Officer (CPO), where I led product strategy, MVP delivery, and team scaling. My role involved working closely with startup founders to turn ideas into products, helping them secure validation, traction, and funding.
